Glazers are baked fresh in our Sweet Goods bakery 365 days of the year. We also bake all of our own muffins, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and other pastries in this same bakery. All of our milk is sourced from dairy farms within a 100-mile radius of La Crosse, Wisconsin.

The Glazer is Kwik Trip's top-selling product. Like all of the company's baked goods, Kwik Trip's famous donuts are made fresh daily at its La Crosse headquarters. The facility produces more than two million donuts every week, which breaks down to 24,000 Glazers every hour, or approximately 400 every minute.

Kwik Trip main competitors are Lunds & Byerlys, Associated Wholesale Grocers, and Big Lots.

According to Iowa Starting Line, the reason they're called Kwik Stars in Iowa is because there was already a chain of convenience stores called QuikTrip. The Zietlow family, who owns Kwik Trip, did not want their stores confused with QuikTrip, which is why the Kwik Star name was born.

La Crosse-based Kwik Trip announced Wednesday it will acquire Stop-N-Go, a Madison-based convenience store operator. John McHugh, director of public relations at Kwik Trip, said the purchase is part of the company's five-year plan to expand across the Midwest.
